The Pack9.net Website: Our primary means of communication is through email and our Facebook Group – Scouts Pack 9 – Austin, TX. Pack9.net, the website, is focused on parents who are new to scouting, or at least new to Pack 9, and answering questions they may have.

Pack 9’s monthly pack meetings normally happen at 2:00 pm on the second Sunday of most months during the school year at the Bryker Woods Elementary playground/Scout Hut.
Welcome to Cub Scouts Pack 9, Austin, TX!
Cub Scouting is for Kindergarten – 5th Grade, girls and boys, along with their families, who want to have fun, learn about the outdoors, and earn achievements while building life skills.
Pack 9 is an inclusive pack, and one of Austin’s oldest Cub Scout packs, founded in 1938-1939, and we are paired with Troop 9 (founded in 1917)! The Bryker Woods PTA has chartered Pack 9 since its inception. Pack 9 counts in its membership scouts from other area schools as well, including nearby St. Andrews, the former Pease Elementary (Pack 8), Mathews Elementary (Pack 1916), Lee Elementary and Maplewood Elementary, and Magellan International Schools, along with others.
Our pack does many fun and adventurous activities throughout the year! Pack 9 goes hiking and family camping. We also do archery, swimming, STEM activities, character-building lessons, team-building games, and competitions such the Rain Gutter Regatta and Pinewood Derby. Want to learn a secret code or learn about wild animals? Go Scouting!
All Kindergarten through 5th Grade girls and boys, and their families, are welcome to join our pack, and parents are encouraged to volunteer for leadership positions. You’re going to love it!
