It is a private group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Troop 9 &#8211; Scouts BSA<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cub Scout Pack 9 is closely associated with Scouts BSA <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Boy Scout Troop 9 (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.troop9austin.org\" target=\"_blank\">Boy Scout Troop 9<\/a><\/strong>. It supports approximately 2,100 Scouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Capitol Area Council<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"201\" height=\"90\" src=\"https:\/\/pack9.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/bsa-cac-patch-90.jpg\" alt=\"BSA - Capitol Area Council, Austin, Texas\" class=\"wp-image-233\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Our council is the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Capitol Area Council (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bsacac.org\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Capitol Area Council<\/strong><\/a>, which started in 1912, and supports scouting programs in 15 central Texas counties: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, DeWitt, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Hays, Lavaca, Lee, Liano, Mason, Travis, and Williamson.
